  A life without space and time.  About the omnipresence of God.  (Catching butterflies).   The Advent season, in which we find ourselves once again, is the ideal time of year to reflect a little on the presence of the Lord in our minds. Thank God   , there are still Christians in this world whose hearts are warmed with joyful love, which is kindled in them every year by the birth of the Lord on earth. Our Christian Christmas is the holy nights of God's earthly birth, for our salvation. At the same time, they are a joyful reminder of the indestructible covenant of love between God and humanity, a covenant that transforms man and God into Father and Child, which truly changes everything for the better. These Christians understand that our connection with Christ is the way to true life and glory (John 14:6). Elijah and the gentle whisper. In 1 Kings 19, the prophet Elijah is forced to flee for his life into the desert, where he wants to give himself up to death, but is visited by an angel who gives him water and bread to strengthen him, twice, so that Elijah could make the long journey of 40 days to Mount Horeb, following the angel's instructions, to a place where the Lord himself appeared to him, not in person, but as a gentle breeze that caressed him, for before Jesus Christ no one could look directly at the Lord. But Christ is the secret goal of this meditation, indeed, our goal in general.  That God came to the prophet Elijah as a gentle whisper, then spoke to him and gave him important instructions for the future of the people and their faith, would not be anything special in itself, if the Lord, as we read in 1 Kings 19:11-12, had not shortly before, on Mount Horeb, where Elijah was seeking Him, sent a storm, an earthquake, and, as the third violent event, a fire upon Elijah...

Mind and Love

  Mind and love.  How fantasies become reality. One way in which the freedom and creative power of the soul manifests itself is that it can imagine practically anything, whether false or true, reasonable or nonsensical, because nothing and no one prevents the “mind,” which is the level of the soul's ideas, from creating what it then grasps and nourishes with its love, nurtures it, and anchors it within itself as reality.  Life would be easier if the soul did not have this freedom and only had reasonable and sensible thoughts, but the challenge for this life is precisely to control its love by rejecting in its heart what is not good and what its mind presents to it as tests, saying: Look at this, try that, or what do you think of this other thing? The heart, which is the will of the soul, must then say no to what is not good in God's order and accept only what is good.
