Christ the King. 2025 years ago, in a small town in Bethlehem, Jesus of Nazareth was born, the Christ, the chosen one, the son of God on earth, who would save our souls, without distinction of class, faith or skin color color, only through the love and faith that each of us was willing to place in his person and his words of redemption through forgiveness, in order to obtain eternal life in his kingdom, in what is called the hereafter. So far, so good, but this story needs a reminder, because our love is weak and too easily turns to what shines in the fleeting light of matter. This unfaithful love highlighted visitors from the East who came to His birthplace to honor and admire Him with symbolic gifts of incense, gold and myrrh.
